Some data is provided freely to any user as a public service by the PNCIS. To receive access to detailed, property-level data, prospective users must apply for access, complete the PNCIS user licensing agreement, and attend an upcoming training session.
To apply for PNCIS access, please e-mail us at pncis@pitt.edu. Be sure to include your name, organization, phone number, e-mail address, and mailing address. If you represent a government or nonprofit organization, you may also let us know if you are able to attend one of our upcoming training sessions.
Representatives of non-profit and government organizations can receive access at no cost thanks to support provided by our generous funders. For-profit organizations will be asked to make a financial contribution to the operation of the PNCIS in order to access the detailed property information in the system.
As required by the data sharing agreement between the PNCIS and the City of Pittsburgh, the City must also approve the PNCIS application in order for the user to receive access to City-provided information.
